The 0/1 body of the black Wizard token cant do much but chump block on its own, but its ability allows you to burn out players with a flurry of spells

In general, Im a bigger fan of the Mangler decks without much removal

Its particularly awesome when you give your Relentless Dead deathtouch, since it takes two creatures to block it and its just coming back anyway
