Ryan Saxe was adamant that I wasnt giving the card enough credit in our set review on The 540, and after sleeping on it, I will concede that it is better at offering specific support to flash-style decks than some of the cards that I would Cube over it and that I could conceive of the card being competitive on rate with Elspeth, Knight-Errant
Valakut or Scapeshift decks rely on getting Valakut, The Molten Pinnacle and a large number of lands into play quickly and simultaneously using ramp spells (most notably Scapeshift or Primeval Titan) in order to produce a lethal amount of damage
Each card can be used as a standalone adventure hook, while multiple basic lands can be combined in any order to provide another starting point for a scenario
If you are looking for a deal on Pokemon products and dont really care what they are (as long as they are from relatively recent expansions), Costco could be the place for you
This card is from the Super Pre-Release events, and was given to the winning players
