Its interesting to compare with Topiary Stomper, a 4/4 for 3 mana that gets you a land and you get to attack later
It doesnt grant trample, but it does come in with haste itself, and granting a respectable +4/+4 for seven mana
The shock lands will hold value for years to come, as long as people are playing competitive Magic, and the serialized cards are always valuable, especially if you get one of those cool numbers like 069/500 or 420/500 (if you pull one of these, please let me know)
The deck was fantastic and didn't lose a match, even beating a turn-four, hard-cast Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre when I followed up with The Abyss on my turn four
One of the spins they gave it later was megamorph to make the morph decision more interesting as it gave the creature a +1/+1 counter as well as the morph trigger, which was a cool addition to morph-dom
