Chief: My overall impression of Ravnica Remastered is that it does have some great reprints, but I cant help but feel like there were also missed opportunities to reprint iconic cards such as Smothering Tithe , Doubling Season , and Finale of Devastation
Witherbloom Pestilence also includes some cards that encourage attacking, which doesnt gel well with the Aristocrats playstyle
Even then it is worth the risk
Deck Commander Guide Now that Wizards of the Coast has revealed the full deck list for this Commander pre-con, and we know the six possible Commanders to lead the deck are: Leonardo, the Balance Donatello, the Brains Raphael, the Muscle Michelangelo, the Heart Splinter, the Mentor Heroes in a Half Shell If we take a closer look at the rules text for these cards, we can discern the strategy behind the deck
Now Im not going to keep repeating how +1/+1 counter synergies are everywhere, but what I really like otherwise about the abilities here is that you can trigger them on any turn once, so if you have an engine for life gain going and triggering on every turn with say Properous Innkeeper and Beledros Witherbloom (also in the deck), youll be sitting pretty on you next turn with possibly four 7/7 racoons
