I like it best in green decks that ramp out a bunch of 5+ cost threats, at which point Ugin lays waste to everything else (the ramp also helps play Ugin at a reasonable time)

Theres a lot I like about Piotrs deck

For this added cost, you get a ton more value, as Sephiroth can easily draw you a card upon entry

The problem with expending cards and mana to gain life especially if thats the only thing youre doing is that lifegain alone will never win the game for you, so all youre doing is giving your opponent time to get ahead with THEIR gameplan
