Black magic exists in an interesting place in Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty , as it seems to primarily want to cooperate with blue for ninjutsu, but any good Magic set also needs its colors to stand independently

It lets you play more lands, allowing for copious ramping, and you get to draw cards each time you put lands in the graveyard

I think Seek the Wilds is a fantastic card with wonderful art
