Its a fantastic card, and given that you can buy the non-Enchanted version for under $5 , it feels like its worth building a Ruby deck just to test him out

Having escape creatures in your deck ensures you have a decent playable to cast on most turns of the game
Tovolar, Dire Overlord The card draw ability on Tovolar, Dire Overlord is super powerful, and although the typical Tovolar werewolf EDH deck is a bit midrangey, there are over 40 wolves and werewolves in this Gruul commanders color identity at 2 mana or less, and some of those are pretty awesome, like Duskwatch Recruiter, Kessig Naturalist, Mayor of Avabruck, and Werewolf Pack Leader
But by tapping your summoning-sick creature, that high Crew cost that everyone assumed was equivalent to multiple creatures being tapped is much closer to you tapping one attacker to make a massive creature
