You can play out vampires one by one and get an extra +1/+1 on board for each one you cast, or you could play token-makers like Charismatic Conqueror and Bloodline Keeper // Lord of Lineage to spread that vampire lord effect across more bodies with a single card from your hand

This brew is a budgetized version of my boyfriend's deck which has a rather disgusting win rate

Id only play them if youre playing a commander that has dragon synergies, or at least flying buffs

All together this makes the card quite fun to play with and not oppressive to play against
