Needing to supply a four-color mana base is a bit rough, but the deck is worth it

The life gain aspect of this card is somewhat worse than Vampire Nighthawk, sometimes you will be able to drop it late game and gain a whole bunch of life before they can do anything about it however in the earlier to mid game where these kinds of cards tend to be more needed it is a lot of mana for not that much life with other requirements to fulfil
Its a pretty good token producer if it survives combat
