So I think what they did was use a GREP style change to set the initial letter of a name to be Gill Sans Nova, but the rest of the name is Gill Sans Condensed
My reasoning was that Mark Rosewater had explained difficulties designing straight four-color cards in the past, because there are too many colors fighting for representation, and you need to design around the missing color (what this four-color card isn't about)
9 Likes dromanyte January 9, 2025, 3:47pm 14 Im almost sure this has an explanation In the recent years, in Latin America community there has been an intense debate regarding translation of main Pokmon games to Latin America Spanish language due to the current Spanish one (Spain Spanish) was overloaded of expressions that could only be understood by people from Spain There was some chaos and even I remember that there was a video involving Latin American voice actors of Ash & Brock However, in case of Pokmon cards literally NOBODY complained about the texts of the cards (or at least I havent seen it) As a Latin American Spanish speaker, I can say that the texts of Spain Spanish Pokmon cards are almost in Neutral Spanish and are not overloaded with expressions
The Shadow Lord Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor was a pretty strong mythic in The Brothers War, and it should play out fairly similar here
