Its supposed to equalize the game, but its so easy to break parity with artifact mana that it ends up being one-sided much more often
In terms of who should lead the precon, Frodo and Sam have a huge advantage: as we highlighted earlier, the deck is primarily a Food (18 cards) and Lifegain deck (19 cards), and Frodo + Sam are simply the best suited to lead that style of deck
But what really matters is the potential to draw a boatload of cards and counter everything your opponents play
Also, if your opponent activates a card or effect, you can Fusion Summon a DARK or Warrior monster, using materials from your hand, field, and/or Graveyard
