The passive people don't make it. The team settled with tapping since it's directly tied to combat but also allows for other actions outside of the combat phase after all, survival is often about not getting into fights
The other major draw is exclusive artwork that doesn't exist in any other language
They are, however, weak to Fighting type Pokemon though, in my experience of both casual and tournament play, Fighting types are fielded more rarely than other Pokemon (admittedly, that doesnt seem to be the case in general, however!)
