Dragons of Tarkir gave us five newcomers (Dragonlord Silumgar, Dragonlord Atarka, etc.), Core Set 2019 gave us retrains of the originals (Arcades, the Strategist, Nicol Bolas, the Ravager), Strixhaven added five more as the namesakes of the different schools (Tanazir Quandrix, Beledros Witherbloom, etc.), and the five metal dragons from Baldur's Gate were also given the double creature type (Ancient Bronze Dragon, Ancient Copper Dragon, etc.)

Put simply, these sorts of two-for-ones are single, individual pieces of cardboard that either trade for multiple (i.e., "two") opposing cards, or deal with an opposing card while leaving a little something behind
Many powerful cards and effects, from Mechanised Production to Sanctum of All, trigger during the upkeep, and the Ninth Doctor allows you to double up on those triggers and speed your way to the endgame
That said, be creating Offspring copies, you are effectively getting 2 creatures and 2 trigger effects from a single card
