I like Kari Zev a lot , and it works well with Kumano Faces Kakkazan, as a 2/4 is quite hard to kill in this format, especially for red-based decks, dodging removal like Flame-Blessed Bolt, Lightning Strike and Fiery Impulse

It's a very similar effect to another card that came out in a Magic: The Gathering set earlier this year: Bristly Bill Spine Sower

Thats all well and good, but what about the cards that mention tokens specifically

Once full of quest counters, white gets a Conjurer's Closet, green gets Ride the Shoopuf plus trample, red gets an ability doubler, and blue gets Coastal Piracy

It can be played in basically any deck, and if you put even a little recursion into your build, youre going to be able to capitalize on throwing cards into the yard
