I know you design these cards with that in mind, so do you see it as a miss when one performs super well in 1v1 Constructed, or is it just a natural part of how those formats evolve now

The stat- and ability-changing effect is permanent, even if Lizard bites the big one (ask Andrew Garfield how that turns out)

Cards like The Queen, Commanding Presence and Gaston, Intellectual Powerhouse are about as tricky as things get, but they simply do what they say on the card and get players used to the powerful (at least in my eyes) shift mechanic, which is a cost reduction method
