There might not be a ton of mechanical cohesion between the creatures you wind up running, but B/W leans pretty heavily towards attrition decks, and I could see Aravad functioning as an easy way to speed up your clock once the rest of the deck does its thing and grinds out a favorable board advantage

Theres definitely some age showing in terms of how it interacts with the current Modern format, but the fundamentals are still good
