You can get a Swords to Plowshares to exile a creature thats indestructible, a Boros Charm to make your permanents indestructible until the end of the turn, or a Generous Gift to destroy any big, bad permanent and leave your opponent with a 3/3 Elephant instead

The need for many creatures makes Gaea's Cradle more restrictive than other fast mana, but its still amazing
Also, with artifacts mattering so much in this set, getting these for free is something that Im sure a lot of red decks can utilize in some way
