An older version of this list could [rightfully] include cards like Gilded Lotus, Illusionist's Bracers, and Primal Amulet, which still very much have a home in Commander, but they no longer stand up to the best of the best artifacts
Azors Gateway / Sanctum of the Sun I recall people losing their minds over Sanctum of the Sun when it was revealed, but as appealing as it is to tap a single land for 30-40 mana, its actually appropriately gated behind the Azor's Gateway mini-game
