Heck, even my 60 card decks only ran like 20-22 lands while my Average Mana Value was like 3.75+

Doing connected cards prevented us from balancing the colors, but as Set Boosters weren't being played in Limited, it wasn't considered a big deal

Card advantage that rummages and wheels like Unexpected Windfall and Imposing Grandeur are your best friends, both to fill the graveyard for cost reduction and to make sure you have enough cards to reliably trigger Eris

Between these two decks, and the accessories I've touched on above, Shimmering Skies is really a fun, celebratory entry in this game that hasn't yet missed its mark at all
