If youd prefer to try an angle with red and green that doesnt revolve around mana ramp, Chishiro, the Shattered Blade does a very good job of rewarding use of Aura and Equipment cards

Upgrading: There really aren't any Defender Tribal cards left outside of my sample budget list except for Shield Sphere, which is great but certainly not worth the current $10 USD price
