Remember also that all cards are not created equal

Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Exsanguinate, Debt to the Deathless, Astarion, the Decadent, and Bloodchief Ascension can end the game in an instant if you have been draining your opponents all game long

Its not because I think that the Dark Ascension foil is suddenly going to skyrocket, but because I want to point out that even unexciting original set foils like this command a bit of a premium and have a greater degree of long-term stability
