Another route to help boost your deck is using cards that protect from board destruction effects, like Heroic Intervention or Eldrazi Monument to make them indestructible
As a reminder, they had the international TCG license from 1999 to 2003, and they stamped their name on Base-Gym era cards, which I pointed out above on the Bulbasaur card
Im sure that there are other more broken ways to use Selvala, but this partner pair definitely seems like the most fun out of the available options
