In practice, this meant games were essentially a race to Lin Sivvi, and whoever would play their copy first would lock their opponent out of playing their Lin Sivvi, which allowed the first player to tutor up a bunch of Rebels and win the game

These effects that don't require the ability-holder to tap, are always sneaky-useful and synergize well with your artifact cards
It may not be the most reliable card, but once you can minimize the downsides, it will pay off in spades
