With lifelink, any damage your creature does gives you life

On top of that, you can turn this into Enduring Scalelord or Worldgorger Dragon if you have the other pieces of the combo Alternative, an approach could be in a reanimation deck to fuel the graveyard, and you can get back Ancient Brass Dragon to (hopefully) bring it right back on the table (this not working with Teneb, the Harvester notably, due to the legend rule)
