I remember the game being only mildly challenging in my childhood, but during a more recent replay using 'real' deck archetypes all felt downright silly
With Dark Knowledge, she allows you to draw a card when she quests, and Divination allows you to move one damage from any character to an opposing character whenever you draw a card
I do not agree with your point about OPAgent not needing to be immediately interacted with-because I do think decks where tutoring is a central part in the game plan will be destroyed by this card
Because EX Pachirisu gets a pretty hefty buff once attached with a Tool card, the deck is trying to maximise the chances that one of the Tools will be in your opening hand (by playing multiple types) alongside cards like Pok Ball and Potion (to add a second EX Pachirisu to your hand and to heal whichever one you currently have on the board)
Incorporating card draw that synergizes with our graveyard-tokens strategy is a good plan, so with Bag of Holding, Caretakers Talent and Brasss Tunnel-Grinder, were in a really good place
