The Adept is slightly better overall but it is marginal enough that I have ranked them together
Anything currently phased out was ignored by all other effects, rules and interactions, but when it came back it would still be the same object it was before: no summoning sickness, no ETB triggers, all the same choices and modes and modifications still applied
You can kill the token after that point, but the equipment is already attached (and if the token is destroyed, the job select equipment remains on the battlefield as with any other equipment)
