While Modern Horizons 2 certainly took the 'bigger, better, flashier' method of approaching a follow-up to 2019's wildly successful Modern Horizons, it did so at the expense of multiple formats, warping entire years' worth of meta games around the cards introduced in this set
Its easy to add tons of Signets and Talismans to your list and call it a day, but resist that temptation, because youre going to curse yourself the next time you need to draw a removal spell or are desperately searching for that last combo piece only to waste your draw on a stupid dumb Fellwar Stone that only taps for orange.
Its colorless casting cost and Titan-like stats make it a strong finisher in Modern, Commander, and Cube draft
This is a sneaky little gag, a reference to Hildibrand's ridiculous quest chain, which goes all the way from 'Hildibrand Adventures' to ' Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures'
But theres a higher power version of this deck for cEDH which plays either very few or no other creatures besides Glint-Horn Buccaneer, which you find with Polymorph or by wheeling through your deck
