The risk-reward of this card stops it from being near the top for now, as you could theoretically pay a high cost to boost the power of a creature just for them to be removed, but that's where your understanding of the game and being aware of your opponents' mana comes into play
Much effort has been put into the cards to ensure that theyre good or playable even without the mechanic, but they excel and overperform in a fair way if youre able to pay the extra cost
