You always want to have plenty of options in both your hand and your graveyard

It is nice when you can hedge somewhat, a card like a Bone Shredder is a poor removal spell and a low powered card but it is an extra body and a removal spell for relatively cheap and as such supports your theme pretty well

While it's great to see some expensive reprints in Commander 2021 , this seems more like a fluke brought on by recent price increases rather than Wizards intentionally trying to load up Commander 2021 with an unprecedented amount of reprint value
