1812 SHILLING SIXPENCE BANK TOKEN ( VF ) MADAGASCAR minted during the reign ofA scarce Bank Token from the Napoleonic era, issued during the shortage of standard silver coinage. This 1812 Shilling Sixpence displays excellent detail with clear lettering and design elements characteristic of the period. Graded in Very Fine condition, it shows light wear consistent with circulation but retains strong definition across both obverse and reverse. Bank Tokens were emergency currency issued by the Bank of England between 1811 and 1816
