TL6842 Very Rare Kerr Bullet Excavated the entire bullet is crisp

the entire bullet is crisp & a teat can be seen inside of the cavity

The nose cast sprue appears to have been hand trimmed off…not the first time I have seen this on a Belgian bullet

This is an August Buermann spur & is marked U S A B (August Buermann)

From surviving a midair explosion to being thrown to the ground at a high rate of speed to laying in the ground about 150 years I would say the condition is pretty darn good

This ball has the hard to find iron side load plug…see photo just below brass fuse adaptor

The patina is an extra nice white to light white color. A faint knife mark can be seen in the top ring where the paper cartridge was hand trimmed with a knife. The solid base is smooth. Measures about 0. 45 x 0. 66 inches. A real nice bullet!
