Prior to graduating as a furniture designer from The School of Arts and Crafts and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1946, Nanna Ditzel worked as a cabinet maker. Shortly after graduating, Ditzel founded her own design studio with Jrgen Ditzel.
