The sizeable green leaves are shaped like nothing so much as an animal's face, perhaps a fox; two big ears and a long pointed nose. From the central spot spread forking midveins illuminated in brilliant white to the tip of the nose and up the two ears. Aiming for a bushy 2' size, Ebony fattens up as the rhizomes raise up plantlet babies to fill in the pot.
