strength multicolor "The extreme blue violet energyI was commissioned by private collectors Maile & Greg to create KOI ll. My second KOI original. It was a wonderful collaboration and one that pushed my artistic skills. They gave me a photograph of the KOI they wanted, and let me have at it. In Eastern cultures, the KOI holds several symbolic meanings including adaptation, harmony, "strength" and opulence. "strength" can be hung vertical or horizontal.
