Nāmolokama Surf atmospheric glowNmolokama is the green amphitheater of ridges that rises behind Hanalei Bay on Kauai's north shore. The Hawaiian name describes interweaving and the mountain earns it: after heavy rain, more than twenty waterfalls thread down the face at once. On dry days, a single ribbon holds. The Pickled Image shoots from the valley floor through coconut palms, framing the wall on a day when one waterfall is doing all the work.
