St Cecilia Year:2 YR Possibly NormanA Welsh eating apple with a distinct floral flavour. Green base almost entirely covered with deep red flush. Fruity, intense and juicy with a good bite. Makes a good juice. Ready in October, can store until March. Vigorous and a good cropper. Raised in Monmouthshire in the 1900s from a Cox's Orange Pippin seedling. Awarded the RHS Award of Merit in 1918 and the RHS First Class Certificate in 1919.
