2022 Clos du Soleil “Winemaker’s Series” Chardonnay grilled wild rice stuffed red pepper showing great length and surprisingBright and crisp, slightly oaked (100% fermented in old neutral French puncheons), and lower in alcohol than most of Chards out there, this single vineyard wine is all in finesse. It reminds me of a fine New Zealand Chardonnay. On the nose, aromas of ambrosia apple, apple pie, pineapple and white flowers. The palate is directional, zippy and energetic offering flavours of citrus, yellow apple, grilled pineapple, wet stone and a long crispy finish
