Ethyl Acetate, or EA, is a gentle and chemical free decaffeination method that maintains the origin flavor of the coffee. The process utilizes naturally occurring esters from sugarcane to remove caffeine from green coffee, which is why you'll sometimes hear the EA process referred to as the "Sugarcane method".
