Well proportioned to hold wooden spoons and implements by the side of the cooker. They also work well as a vase for flowers or fresh herbs and more randomly as toilet brush holder. The bone china comes either glazed on the inside and matt on the outside, which makes a lovely contrast, or fully glazed.
