The original was painted on the beach at Porthcothan during filming for my appearance of Rick Steins Cornwall series 2

The elements in motion

the sky was looking quite heavy but there was amazing light in the sea and a perfect wave to attract bass nearer to the shore

All about embracing the seasons and weather and capturing those fleeting moments

Lots of wet sand as the tide is at it's lowest ready to turn and begin it's journey back up the beach

Known for it's dramatic cliff line and jutting rocks, it creates its own drama at any time of the day and any time of the year. In October, the sun is lower and can come right through the tops of the clean waves before they break as depicted here .
