The client wanted something that sat close to the hand low, organic, built to complement the natural shape of the marquise rather than fight it. We chose this specific stone for that reason: a 4ct marquise with a wider ratio, all body, not stretched. The shape gave the freeform design something to work with. The build. The setting sits low on purpose. With a stone this size, everyday wear matters. Four
