Hippeastrum (Amaryllis) 'Picotee' Bulb classes-events commonly referred to as theHippeastrum or "Amaryllis" are fantastic bulbs to plant in the autumn for an indoor flower display for winter holidays and the new year. Their large, bold flowers are held high on thick stems, emerging about 8 weeks after planting. Long strap like leaves will also emerge. After flowering has finished plants may be grown until their foliage depletes at which time they may be allowed to dry and rest in dormancy until their next annual cycle begins.
