Cask No. 112.128 Sweet & Zesty 15 - Boiled sweets andWe started off by dipping warm panettone in madeira, with a side of brandy snaps stuffed with aromatic orange fondant. Like the nose, the palate was rich and sweet with a texture to match. A touch of paprika and cappuccino followed. Water stirred a glass of spiced cola with fennel and a stick of marzipan, and we could taste Sardinian papassini biscuits, glac cherries and blackcurrant syrup. After 12 years in an ex bourbon hogshead, we transferred this
