A world of buffed mahogany, precious hardwood resins, leaf mulch, medical vapour rubs, lamp wicks, demerara rum cocktails, furnitures waxes and oozing syrupy fruit liqueurs. An almost gelatinous sense of rancio envelopes everything. Stupendously deep, complex, visceral and unctuous. With reduction comes
