Description

水盂とは、サジで水を汲み取り、硯に水を移す際に使う道具です。

本品は珍しい六稜輪花盆です。元末明初の作ですが、非常に良い状態を保っております。宋代の造形を引き継いだ端正な輪花で、中心を黒漆、周囲を朱漆と塗り分けてあります。高台も6稜の丸みをもった輪花になっており。細やかな仕事が見て取れます。

私は何かの漁に使われたものではないかと想像しています。

古寺院で俎板として使われていたものです。

金継直しがしてあります。
