This the newer style engine coupling assembly used on MerCruiser GM 120hp 2

Generally used on V6 & V8 Applications after 1985-1992 as far as the diagrams are concerned but generally found when you had the old 3" style Y-pipe going to the 4" Exhaust Riser

At some point in 1984 they switched over the design which looks slightly different than this and that updated design is usually stamped 395209
