釉薬は黒褐色の古瀬戸釉がかけられています。焼成時に破裂した＜破れ＞で、荒々しい火の力を呈しています。

白っぽい良質な胎土の上に、灰釉がかかり、自然釉と灰被りのコントラストが、器物の景色となっています。

図面竹の文様が美しい古竹の茶合です。

端正な神獣が彫刻された古い唐物の時代板、一対です。虫食いがあります。
