李朝、白磁青花扁瓶です。

獅子一対（鎌倉時代）

作風は自由闊達な絵付けや洗練された中にある素朴な味わいに特徴があり、乾山が器を作り光琳がそこに絵を描いた兄弟合作の作品も多い。

器形には実にさまざまな大きさ、種類があり、水や穀物の備蓄用のもの、煮炊きする料理用のもの、祭祀のお供え用のものなどがあります。

信楽の土は、水止めには向いていない土なのですが、下段の鞘は奇跡的に水を止めており、上段の割れ目を口とし、花入としてお使い頂けます。（24時間水を張りました）
