What did surprise me though is how nice the Graveyard subtheme ended up being: I count 20 cards that interact with the graveyard directly with a very generous definition, including anything that recurs (Starfield of Nyx), puts itself in the graveyard (Binding the Old Gods), puts other enchantments in the graveyard (Nyxborn Behemoth), or triggers off enchantments going into graveyards (Narci, Fable Singer)
and then we just juiced the whole thing to make one of the best core sets of all time. Teferi, Teferi, Teferi, Teferi Core Set 2021 was announced last September as part of Wizards preview of all four of 2020s Standard sets
Its basically just that, at least until you follow up with five spells and awaken the kraken
