In 1978, at the request of the Corning Museum of Glass, St Louis produced 300 magnum encased overlays, 150 upright Bouquets, and 150 close millefiore mushrooms. This is one of the mushrooms. Making these paperweights was a challenge to see if the craftsmen of today could repeat the achievement of their 19th century predecessors.
